Rugby:
The U/14s won their match 22-5 and the undefeated U/15s won 10-7. The U/15s had a very hard-fought victory as they trailed behind for the majority of the match; scoring a match-winning try during injury time. The 3rd team lost 7-5 and the 2nd team won 38-26 and displayed good ball-handling and has five tries to show for, courtesy of Colin Scott, Swazi Nkosi, Andile Nonyane, Wian de Bruyn and Nhlakanipho Shange. The 2nd team award CJ Lourens player of the match for being ever present at ruck time and he proved to be a true predator on the ground. Unfortunately, the 1st team lost 22-8 despite a valiant first half performance. Some excellent results boys, well done! Thank you to all the staff and coaches who made this day possible, and most importantly to the learners of DHS for your true team spirit and unfailing devotion to your school.
