The camp will also serve as the final elimination round for selection of the new choir. We are incredibly proud of these talented learners for making it this far and we wish you all of the best for the final round of auditions. Heritage Day
Mrs Madondo has truly brought a vibrant spirit to DHS. She organised a group of learners to put together a taste of just some of the culture we share at DHS. The celebration included songs by the Gospel Choir, poems recited in English, Afrikaans and Zulu, a colourful and vibrant Indian dance and a powerful and pulsating Zulu dance. Finally, the groups united to sing a song in Zulu about unity and then the whole school joined in to sing our country's National Anthem with pride. Thank you to Mrs Madondo, Mrs Sewmangal and all the learners who helped remind the school what it means to be the rainbow nation. Cricket
The DHS first team played a match against St. Dominic's and put on 114 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. St. Dominic's went in to bat and reached the target in the 15th over. Colin Scott managed to score 45 runs and take the only wicket. Don't lose faith boys, just keep working hard! SCHOOL LEAGUE FRESHWATER BANK ANGLING
