NAMPO is the biggest agricultural show in the Southern Hemisphere and it exhibits all the latest mechanical and technical developments. This is therefore definitely something to be experienced and twenty DHS learners had the privilege of attending the show. These learners benefited greatly from this experience and a special thank you must be made to Mr Smith and Mr Kelbrick for accompanying the learners to NAMPO. A very big thank you to Braytons for sponsoring golf shirts, hats and backpacks for the DHS learners; this was greatly appreciated.
DHS vs VHS
On Saturday, DHS had tough round of matches against Vryheid High School. Thank you to the local supporters who cheered DHS on, alongside the field, and thank you also to VHS for travelling to Dundee. The results were as follows:

The under 14B team lost 3-18, as did the under 15A 9-28, the under 16A also lost 13-22 and the under 16Bs lost 11-16. The DHS second team scored a victory of 16-11 but unfortunately the VHS first team was too good for Dundee and the match was lost13-15.
Rugby – It was a tough day on the field but the under 14’s had a great match, winning 50-17. The under 15’s also won 22-7 but the under 16’s had a dismal match losing 5-7. The second team unfortunately lost 25-8 and the first team were defeated 38-0.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
This year, DHS is planning another production to entertain the audiences of Dundee. The play is Alice in Wonderland and rehearsals are well under way. A brilliant cast has been selected to do the job, and DHS is confident that they will perform brilliantly! The production will be performed in the third term and DHS looks forward to seeing you all there.
