On Saturday, 11 May, a few of our learners and educators extended a helping hand to a very well organised fund raising event in aid of the Talana Museum. They modelled antique dresses and outfits whilst the guests enjoyed their afternoon tea in Royal Doulton, Spode or Aynsley tea sets. This was an afternoon high tea fit for royalty with dainty petit fours and delicate finger foods that will be the talk of the town for quite some time. It was an informative afternoon filled with rich history of the garments that have been expertly preserved by the museum staff. We would like to thank the organisers for allowing our learners the opportunity to be a part of such a memorable afternoon. They definitely enjoyed this learning experience.
