On Friday, 30 January, DHS hosted their annual interhouse athletics. It was a scorcher of a day but luckily there was a waterslide and fun water balloon fights to cool everyone down. The day started off with the 800m events. Well done to Sifundo Mnguni who finished the boys’ u/19 800m in 2:29:65. Kiandri Bierbaum was on fire at discus with a distance of 19.86m in the u/19 girls’ category and Themba Hlatswayo managed a 30.06m in the boys’ u/19. Ons is ongelooflik trots op Novelee Voster wat amper die 1.55m rekord vir meisies o/17 gebreek het.  Die dag was ‘n reuse sukses.
