DHS Netball Players Shine at Circuit Trials

In the U14 age group, congratulations go to Esethu Nkosi, Uminathi Maphanga, Enhle Mnguni and Jaeden Thompson, with Ndalwenhle Mpanza named as reserve. These players demonstrated excellent skill, determination and teamwork throughout the trials.

The U15 group also delivered strong performances, with Angelique van der Merwe, Melokuhle Methembu, Langelihle Sibiya and Sethabile Shelembe securing their places in the team. Alwande Zwane was selected as reserve.

DHS Netball Teams Shine at Amajuba Sport Week

Dundee High School’s 1st and 2nd netball teams delivered an impressive performance at the recent Amajuba Sport Week, showcasing skill, determination, and strong team spirit throughout the tournament.

The 1st team recorded convincing victories over Werda (14–3), Volksrust U16 (13–4), Volksrust 16B (14–2), and NHS (7–4), highlighting their dominance on court. Despite a tough opening match against Volksrust (5–10), the team bounced back in style to finish the week on a high note.

The 2nd team also made their mark with notable wins against Werda (16–6) and St Catherine’s (17–6), while holding Volksrust 16B to a 9–9 draw. Close contests against NHS (9–11) demonstrated their resilience and competitive edge.
