Dundee High played their first SA20 game against Sarel Cilliers on Friday afternoon. Excellent bowling from Kiandri Bierbaum 3/5, Jordan Singh 3/6 and Stuart Talanda with 2/6 restricted Sarel to 24 all out. Ryno Labuschagne and Tyrees du Preez made the winning runs in just 7 balls with 13 runs each. Jordan Singh was the man of the match for his hatrick! DHS winning the game with 10 wickets.
On Saturday, the first cricket team played against NHS. Their bowlers restricted NHS 109/10 with excellent bowling from Heindre Smit 2/4, Uzair Bhula 2/13 and Hein Muller 2/22. A 112 (from 62 balls) partnership between Dillan Guelpa (68 runs) and Hein Muller (32 runs) ensured a 10 wicket win for DHS. Man of the Match Dillan Guelpa.
